Kathy and Janet Lennon's Best Pals

Kathy

A return to simpler time, the Best Pals collection of soft cloth rag dolls is inspired by the original hand sewn rag dolls made for Kathy and Janet Lennon by Mom and Nana when the sisters were 6 and 3 years old respectively.  In addition to the dolls, the Best Pals line also includes two newly-recorded Best Pals music CD's.  "BEST PALS" and "BEST PALS CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS"

To millions nationwide, Kathy and Janet Lennon of the beloved Lennon Sisters were also their sisters.  Kathy, Janet - and their legions of fans - grew up together.  The Lennon's love for one another inspired a country.  Ever since they were little children, even before America embraced them, Kathy and Janet were inseparable.  Caring for one another, sharing everything - they were best pals in every sense.  Recognizing their special and unique bond, their mother Sis Lennon and grandmother Nana hand made a pair of soft cloth rag dolls that resembled the loving sisters - a brunette doll for Kathy and a blonde doll for Janet.  To Kathy and Janet, these dolls were best pals - just like they were.

Best Pals are charming traditional soft cloth rag dolls, 16 Inches tall with the first edition individually numbered for added collectability.  Features include embroidered faces, yarn hair that can be styled and elastic beaded bracelet on each doll that spells "Best Pals."  The material used for the dresses are exact duplicates of the original dolls, including white pantaloons, shoes and long knit stockings.  All clothes and accessories can be removed for added play value.

The 2007 Rag Doll Replicas include:

  • Kathy in Christmas Green Dress - with Nightie
  • Janet in Christmas Red Dress - with Nightie
  • Kathy - brunette doll - wears a sweet yellow dress with a tiny Humpty Dumpty theme, with matching pink silk bows in her braids
  • Janet - blonde doll - wears a pale yellow dress with nostalgic pink and blue bunny print, with matching blue silk bows in her braids.
