About the Authors
Frieda Wishinsky loves to write
books because it’s fun making stories up and not getting in trouble. She likes
deciding on her own schedule. Frieda loves traveling for research and for
presentations in schools, libraries and conferences. She writes picture books,
chapters books, novels and non-fiction. She likes to write in a variety of
genres and try something new. But she especially loves to write picture books.
A native of Canada,
Elizabeth MacLeod has written craft books, works of nonfiction, and picture
books for young readers. MacLeod has also penned a number of critically
acclaimed biographies, including Alexander Graham Bell: An Inventive Life
and Lucy Maud Montgomery: A Writer's Life.
