The Magic School Bus - The Secrets of Space

The Secrets of Space is a science kit inspired by the Magic School Bus books and television series. It focuses on observing and understanding the solar system. The kit includes a star map and constellation cards, a chart of the planets, a night-vision flashlight (a tiny standard flashlight with red cellophane), supplies to make a simple telescope, and supplies to make models of the planets in orbit and the moon orbiting our earth. An instruction booklet written with the same mix of cartoon and prose that is found in many of The Magic School Bus books is also included.

The Magic School Bus - Secrets of Space received the 2008 Toy of the Year in the Educational Science Kits category from Creative Child Magazine.

The Magic School Bus - Soaring Into Flight

This kit focuses on the aerodynamics of flight. The kit includes goggles, paper tape measure string, elastic bands, clothespin, rocket launcher, direction for making a paper airplane, pink pong balls and everything you need to try 12 experiments. The experiments are presented as questions, and ask the child to supply the hypothesis. At the end of the 20-page booklet answers are provided.

The Magic School Bus - Soaring Into Flight received The National Parenting Centers Fall 2008 Seal of Approval. Creative Child Magazine awarded Soaring Into Flight the 2008 Preferred Choice Award.
